There are still reported cases of asbestos cancer showing up all around the world today because even though most countries are doing all they can to reduce the asbestos in factories and buildings the product has been around for too long not to have effected many people. The slightest contact with this product can cause inflammation of the lungs and lead to cancer because of the nature of the fibers that the asbestos is made of. The human lungs are designed to remove waste from inside then by pushing the rubbish op and out however because the asbestos particles have hooks I them they stick to the inside of the lungs and stay there permanently.

Because cancers are often slow to develop the asbestos cancer has been known to take up to fifty years to present itself in patients. Shortness of breath and coughing are the first signs of this infliction however these symptoms are also those of many other lung problems. People that have been in direct contact with the fibers showed signs of the cancer around ten years after they were exposed. This is usually people that have had something to do with the instilation or removal of the product to and from places of residence or business.
